During the last year I've been inspired by the beautiful city I live in, Hoorn. When I say it is a city I am not exaggerating, it is technically a city, but it is a tiny one and it certainly doesn't feel like it.
So I have painted a selection of prints to celebrate my home town. These are the beautiful views that greet me every morning and evening as I cycle through the centre. My soul is always uplifted when I look around me at this wonderful place. I would pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming but I'm not very good at cycling with only one hand on the handlebars (I am English after all. I didn't learn to ride a bike until I was ten) so I don't pinch myself and keep both hands on the handelbars!
